hey there raya!

Salam to all!

Finally, a raya entry! *cue suasana di hari raya song*

This year's raya is definitely one of the best raya ever!

Apart from getting a whole lot of duit raya (they give extra because I'm flying soon ^^), I also get to travel to 23 places in 9 days(!) and visited 3 of my friends (A/N I never visit my friend's house outside of KL before)

So, here's what I have been doing for the past 9 days ;)

Day 1

Friday, 17th August @ 28th Ramadhan

KL-Grik-Lenggong-Raban-Pekan Taiping-Aulong

It was my sister's 19th birthday. *shoutout to ma lil sis*

With 2 boxes of regular Domino's pizza delivered to our doorstep being "late", we began our raya exploration at exactly 0100

Singgah sahur at simpang pulai, and then back on the road

Took detours to visit the relatives on our way to reach opah's house in Aulong

We even managed to do a little raya shopping at Pekan Taiping despite the very, very hot weather (and it's puasa too, and we're travelling @.@ )

Reached hometown very late in the evening, then buka with the family :)

Day 2

Saturday, 18th August @29th Ramadhan

Aulong

Stayed home, to cook.

It's raya tomorrow!

Day 3

Sunday, 19th August @ 1 Syawal

Aulong-Taman Marisa-Kota West-Aulong

Weeee~ it's raya!

Visited 2 of the relatives' houses.

The original plan was to visit 3, but 1 was MIA :(

Day 4

Monday, 20th August @ 2 Syawal

Aulong-Kampung Dew-Simpang Empat-Aulong

Visited the must-go place during raya: Kampung Dew :)

Met a cute little girl, Hidayah

She was extremely friendly, and bubbly too :)

Reminds me of the Hidayah I met during our awesome HA @ Hospital Serdang

i miss you. i wonder how are you doing? :(

Day 5

Tuesday, 21st August @ 3 Syawal

Aulong

The plan was to go to Kedah today.

But, since le sis attended recording for Irama (Raya Ketiga, 6pm)
So, we stayed to watch that.
Sayang seribu kali sayang, we didn't even get to catch a glimpse of her! What a waste of time =.=;;;
Tak pasal2 kena dengar lagu melayu kurun keberapa ntah.

Day 6
Wednesday, 22nd August @ 4 Syawal

Aulong-Bandar Baharu-Parit Buntar-Bertam-Alor Star-Mergong

To Kedah we go!
Visited Dini, fellow classmate at Bandar Baharu

Then, together with Dini and her mom, we visited Ainun, the other classmate :)

abah ainun lawak baq hang! xDD

Then, we're off to Pak Long's house and finally arrived at Chu's new house in Mergong.

Day 7
Thursday, 23rd August @ 5 Syawal

Mergong-Kuala Kedah-Langgar-Jalan Tun Abdul Razak-Aulong

Woke up early in the morning to receive duit raya from the working Pak Su :)
What a great way to start the day with huh? :DD
Then we're off to visit Cik Na and her kids in Kuala Kedah
It was a quick visit, good to see them still bubbly and very noisy ;pp
Visited ibu's colleague, kak bunga zahara in Langgar.
Met abang kelapa muda.
abang kelapa muda, cahaya keimananmu terpancar pancar. tapi sayang, kau memilih adikku, bukan diriku T^T *nangis sebaldi
Then, we visited an old friend of mine, Syarafana :)

sayang awak ;)

Stayed for quite a while (melepaskan rindulah katakan)

Then, we went back to Opah's house that night

Day 8

Friday, 24th August @ 6 Syawal

Aulong-Kuala Kangsar-Talang-Taman Mutiara-Tanjung Rambutan-Ipoh

Woke up VERY early in the morning.

Then, we took off to Tok Teh's house.

Since it's very early, they were all still asleep =.=

oh, future housemates did a VERY excellent job in booking our house!

Since, I'm away sakan beraya, they really made me touched when they send me that text saying that we finally secured a house together! T^T *menangis sebaldi

Back to the raya story, we visited Tok Chik's house.

Met the scandalous pakcik biru muda. LOL

Day 9

Saturday, 25th August @ 7 Syawal

Ipoh-Cameron Highlands-KL

Time to say byebye to Wanchow and family.
Got a few winter clothes and more duit raya :DD
oh oh, we also ate laksa sarawak, 2 types of spaghetti and lasagna for breakfast.

The family were awesome.
- Faris mengamuk because of us locking him out of the room.
- Faris cross-dressing.

- Faris in full suit winter-clothing

- Faris and Amsyar flower makeover.
- Amsyar's non-stop nags about the kuih raya
- Amsyar got nervous breakdown upon acknowledging ayang's sudden confession.

- Ayah Cho and Wanchow bergotong royong preparing the food.
- Ayah Cho and Wanchow gave me lots of things from winter jacket to leather jacket to muffler to gloves to luggage bag…

Then. we're off to KL pronto…or not…
Got sesat on our way, we went to Cameron Highlands instead..
Sesat is one thing, might as well enjoy the trip!

Ayang bought this super huge and fluffy Strawberry pillow...

We stopped at the Bharat's tea shop and bought fresh strawberries smoothie and vanilla milkshake and some tuna sandwiches.

On our way down, like deja vu, I puked. 

(A/N I puked during our family holiday to Cameron Highlands too)

Well, what do you expect?

To regain my energy, we ate at this medan selera near Masjid Jamek Tapah

We ate and ibu already went to start the car while me and my sister were finishing our last bites.

Then, a sudden commotion exploded.

Little that we know that it was all due to a snake.

Seriously, it was an unforgettable event.

Everyone was panicking; a few went up the chairs, some makciks ran to some random cars, I think, and knocked on the door hard begging the owner to let them in, some just left their uneaten food and went to a safer side while a few braver others went to catch the snake which is hiding under a table after being chased by a very awesome pakcik (so my sister said) chanting hoo~s and woo~s.

After all of that, we drove home and safely arrived right before Maghrib :)
